review of ,,Murder on the Orient Express''

,,Murder on the Orient Express'' is a movie directed by Kenneth Branagah in 2017. Kenneth Branagah is mainly known for his adaptations of plays by William Shakespeare. He happens to be also playing the main role, Hercule Poirot, in ,,Murder on the Orient Express'' which I find really interesting. This crime-drama film is really unpredictable and has surprised me many times. The action happens in the winter of 1934 on a Orient Express train where the mysterious murder takes place. Luckily, one of the passengers is the best world detective Hercule Poirot who was selected to solve this mystery and find out the truth. The cast chosen for this movie is truly amazing and it includes such stars as Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley and may other respected actors. The film transfers you really good into 1930s. In my opinion ,,Murder on the Orient Express'' is truly spectacular and it was probably one of the best movies I watched in a while. Throughout the film, I tried to guess the murderer but keep on guessing wrong. That really surprised me because I am usually good at predicting films and I can easily guess the plot at the beginning of it. So it was very nice to finally see something that threw me. Watching this movie not even for a second i thought that it was boring. I found it very gripping and mind blowing. I don't know why but it reminded me of one of my favorite movie ,,Knives out'' which I highly advise you to watch. All in all, I really recommend ,,Murder on the Orient Express'' to you because I find it really astonishing and outstanding. If you are going to watch it, I challenge you to guess who is behind the murder!

How did the Sumerians change the world?

One of the most known ancient civilizations, and probably the oldest one, were the Sumerians, who  are considered the cradle of the cultures of the Middle East and Europe. Their civilization flourished between 4100 and 1750 BCE in southern Mesopotamia and they were the first Mesopotamian civilization who lived in independent walled city-states. They led a sedentary lifestyle and dealt mainly with breeding, agriculture and crafts.    The beliefs of the Sumerians were polytheistic, based on the worship of natural forces and astral bodies. The most important gods in their religion were: Nammu (god of water), An (heaven), Ki (earth) and Ninlil (ruler of air).   The Sumerians, thanks to their extraordinary wealth and ingenuity, created many inventions that changed the world. They created first wheel (thanks to which they obtained a means of transport), writing (cuneiform writing) and  numerous achievements in construction ( eg. bricks production). The...

review of ,,Armageddon''

Some time ago I watched a movie called ,,Armageddon'' directed by Micheal Bay in 1998. The movie was recommended to me by my father who is a big fan of Micheal's Bay work. ,,Armageddon'' is a catastrophic movie, which keeps you in suspense, but also makes you laugh because it is full of irony and jokes. The cast consists of amazing and talented actors such as Bruce Wills, Liv Tyler and Ben Affec k . The movie is a about a team of deep-core drillers who one day are chosen by NASA to save Earth from an asteroid that is going to impact our planet in less than a month. I t won many awards and was nominated to four Oscars but unluckily didn't win any. Even though the f ilm doesn't have very good reviews from the critics , I certainly do not agree with them. I really liked actors that were picked for this movie and I think that they fit characters they were chosen to play. I also loved the special effects and how the director made me laugh one second and cry...
